[Book] A long walk to water

이번 CPELI Jeff 수업에서 함께 읽고 있는,
“A long walk to water”
실화를 바탕으로 한 이 소설은 아프리카 수단을 배경으로 2명의 아이들이 겪는 내전과 가난, 위협적인 환경 속에서 생존해나가는 이야기를 담고 있다.

나도 아직 읽고 있는 중이고,, 무엇보다 독해가 너무 안되서; 잘 읽고 있는지는 모르겠지만…ㅠㅠ
‘수단’뿐만 아니라 에티오피아, 케냐 등 아프리카 국가들의 참혹한 현실과 고통을 조금이나마 느낄 수 있다.

나는 반스앤노블에서 책을 산 후에,
도서관에서 오디오북을 빌려서 같이 들으면서 읽고 있다.
혼자서 읽는 것보다 훨씬 재밌고(?), 속도가 붙는다^^
